Inspired from a vintage doctor bag, the Ciabatta is made with full grain leather. The calfskin leather for this bag was vegetable tanned in Tuscany to create rich color tones while the semi gloss finish helps prevent stains. Our 8 oz cotton duck canvas lining is made in South Carolina and very durable.  The combination of Italian vegetable tanned leather, Italian craftsmanship, and U.S. made canvas lining make our leather handbags high quality and lightweight.   Ciabatta leather bag comes in four colors - Vecchio Brown, Olive Brown, Blue, Tuscan Red and Green. Made in Italy.

Characteristics: This leather is stiff when new, but softens over time.  Our natural beeswax leather cream is recommended to soften, polish, and protect as needed.  This leather is real and has variations in color as a result of the artisanal tanning methods. Each leather hide is one of a kind. Small scratches can be polished out with leather cream or conditioner.
